I was asked to design an edible garden for my clients and their grandchildren to enjoy, They had moved from a lifestyle block and wanted to recreate the sense of discovery that their grandchildren had so enjoyed in their previous garden in this young, much smaller garden.
Their Statement of Purpose was “Our garden is a ‘richly’ planted, bio-diverse, quirky series of spaces for our whole family to relax, play and enjoy the abundance”.
We worked together, firstly with a draft design, and marked this out on site to check its functionality. We pegged out the fruit tree positions and these were adjusted again when they were planted.The completed Planting Plan allows them to develop the garden further over time.
